I don't see a difference. I get Friday the 13th the Series on digital cable and it looks the same as the DVD. To me, anyway. I have been anticipating the release of this series for some time.

The camerawork and music are excellent, the plots are engaging, the portrayal of pure evil is convincing, the Canadian accents are funny (especially when the actors try to mimic the accent of the Deep South in the episode "Hate on your Dial") and the women are beautiful.
